Chris Coxall
2nd to last photo gives it away - Locost Builders.co.uk on the top and bottom of photo 😔
Markiebabes
On DVLA site the reg comes back registered as a Caterham 😳 🤔 🤔
rj
There's a picture of the V5c in the eBay ad, where you can see "Caterham" as make. But that still doesen't make it one, does it?
Lotus Boy
If it does then my Ford Focus is going to become a GT40 tomorrow in the eyes of the DVLA and I'll sell it for a million quid. If I was CC, I wouldn't be impressed that someone could get that thing registered as my product. Cheers David
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted September 20, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted September 20, 2011 This seller is a strange person. The advert has been amended several times in view of the protests that it isn't a Caterham (it's a kit car - probably a Locost that has been registered as a Caterham). He's now added 2 extra pictures, one of a totally different partially dismantled Locost and one which appears to be the front suspension of a rather battered Caterham
BenF
I love the answer to this question Q: Could you post a close up photo of the manufacturers ID plate showing the chassis number etc. Thanks A: Hi There, I would love to but the car is not at home but locked up, elswhere, May be later, pete How convenient! Area Representative skeetsy Posted September 20, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted September 20, 2011 Quoting Chris Coxall: 2nd to last photo gives it away - Locost Builders.co.uk on the top and bottom of photo 😔 But oddly enough the 2nd to last photo has nothing to do with the car! the car in that photo is a space frame, whilst the car for sale is a plywood tub on a ladder chassis - I'd almost bet his asking price on it 😬
Grubbster
The advert keeps changing as do the photos. Hardly any description left on it now, I think he is getting quite pee'd off. If he chucks in the nice looking carrier bag in the photo he'll improve his chances of selling it 😬
