Stationary M25 Traveller
I have my old system in the attic ....... less the primaries. I am told it is an R300 exhaust - and comprises a cat with a 4-1 collector, and a 6" diameter silencer (sealed type). I sold it to Bruno. He sold it to a Sevener in Denmark, but it is still waiting in my attic (probably for a year now ?). Any news on the buyer, Regin ?
rj
Argh Completely forgotten about this. A friend is currently in Yorkshire, will see if I can get hold of him as I think he passes back via Harwich. /r
Ian B
I guess yours is an SV one Ian, so won't fit an S3 as it's longer.
Stationary M25 Traveller
Good point ! edit - wonder if the extra length is in the 4 primaries or in the silencer ? Edited by - Stationary M25 Traveller on 12 Sep 2011 12:49:
Petrolhead
I would think the silencer will be the same length
Ian B
Extra length in a standard SV exhaust with cat, is in the single pipe between the bonnet exit and the cat. This may not be the same for an R300/400/500 though? Edited by - Ian B on 12 Sep 2011 13:09:

Area Representative Nick Chan Posted September 12, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted September 12, 2011 Unfortunately my R400 system (primaries with cat collector) isn't suitable for Jens requirements. He is buying an early Superlight (96 reg) and has the original style 4-1 exhaust system which slopes downward from the primaries. He needs a catalyst system to allow the car to be registered in Germany and its arriving in one week! If anyone else can help either with the supply of the parts or a solution that should work, can they drop Jens a line on the address in the original posting. I have suggested he contact Powerspeed to see if they can provide a new silencer with a built in cat that can be collected and fitted when the car is exported new week.
