3. Timetable of the day (Times Approximate)

7.30am Signing on opens

7.45am Scrutineering begins

THERE WILL BE A DRIVERS BRIEFING - please listen for an announcement over the PA system

9.00am Practice runs commence IN PROGRAMME ORDER

1.00pm (or earlier if practice runs completed)....Competitive runs commence

 

4. On arrival - Proceed to paddock area and park in the Paddock as per allocated parking places on the Paddock Bay sheet.

Go to paddock office and sign on.

Attend Scrutineering (at the far end of the paddock) Single seaters will be scrutineered in their paddock bay. Please note single seaters only.

PLEASE SEE SHEET FOR ALLOCATED TIMES OF SIGNING ON, SCRUTINEERING

AND PRACTICE RUNS.

Competitors wishing to walk the course must do so before 8.30am.

At SIGNING on you will need: MSA Competition Licence Club Membership or Championship Registration Card.

 

For Scrutineering you will need:

Your Car to comply with MSA Regulations applicable to this event

A log book for your vehicle if applicable with J.2.1

Timing Strut in accordance with S10.9

An approved crash helmet with the correct MSA approved label and clean overalls to the required

minimum standard.

5. Entry List - Please refer to the enclosed entry list for your COMPETITION NUMBER Competition

numbers must be in place at scrutineering. Numbers will NOT be available on the day.

6. Refuelling - Please take care when Refuelling in the paddock area.

7. Awards - Will be presented on the day. If you win an award please stay behind as we cannot guarantee that it can be sent to you. FTD winner will also receive a first in class award.

8. Marking and Penalties - All four wheels across the white line at the edge of the track will result in a NO TIME RECORDED. Judges of fact will be the course controller, chief startline and the IC at post two, three, officials names will be posted on the notice board.

9. Tyre Warming - Tyre Warming may only take place in the marked tyre warming area at the start. TYRE WARMING AND PRACTICE STARTS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE RETURN ROAD, this is a public footpath and such actions will be deemed in breach of MSA regulations.

I can spot a set of KumZZrs at 50 paces, and I bet the Westy guys could too.

Nice idea though. I *might* get within 3 seconds of the class 2 record in

a borrowed class 5 car...

 

[then again, I'd probably just end up parked on the grass a bit quicker]
