chris perry 1
Hello All, Gamestation are doing an offer at the moment to trade your old PS3 in for a new slimline one. Has anyone transfered their GT5 game save from one PS3 to another, is this possible via a usb memory stick? Thanks, Chris Perry
The_ASH
Yes, as long as you find a compatible USB stick (not all are) it should work. Just find the game save from the XMB menu and one of the options will be 'Copy', I back up my game saves to a memory stick in this way. Edited to say :- Having read your post again I take it that you are upgrading from a Fat to a Slim PS3, I also did this a while ago when the Bluray drive in my old one died. If you have a portable HD you can back the whole machine up and install on the new one but read through the help files on the PS3 as there is a full procedure to follow deactivating one machine and activating the new one (can't remember the whole process but it did work (just took ages)). Tony Wright
Hi Chris, never mind GT5, get on Liams (Miltec) MSR site and join in with the rFactor racing. Great fun on Tue and Fri evenings with a wide range of driving abilities
