Peter Mears
interested in sillprotectors, does anyone know how they fit? My inside panels are riveted. Thanks
weeman
Peter, you've answered your own question. The sill protectors fit between the inside panels and the frame of the car and the rivet passes through all three. So to fit them you have to; 1. drill out the existing rivets that hold the inside panel in place. 2. slot the sill protectors between the inside panel and the frame of the car. 3. drill the sill protectors through the existing holes in the inside panels. 4. rivet the inside panels back in place. Drilling stainless steel requires a decent drill bit. Be lucky!! Martin
