Some bits from my lock up

Just vacating a lock up and found these;

 

Valve spring compressor, perfect working order £10 SOLD

 

Coil spring compressors, perfect working order £10 SOLD

 

Stainless sillprotectors for an SV but can be cut to fit a S3, Very good condition £13

 

Sabelt 4 point harness (1 only) with 6 shoulder pads, date expired but the webbing and buckles are in perfect condition £40 SOLD

 

Towing drop plate 155mmx10mm £5.

Peter,

you've answered your own question. The sill protectors fit between the inside panels and the frame of the car and the rivet passes through all three.

 

So to fit them you have to;

 

1. drill out the existing rivets that hold the inside panel in place.

2. slot the sill protectors between the inside panel and the frame of the car.

3. drill the sill protectors through the existing holes in the inside panels.

4. rivet the inside panels back in place.

 

Drilling stainless steel requires a decent drill bit.
