scooby dooby doo
while you're at it I'd recommend you go the whole hog and obtain/buy a complete fuel tank protection kit. you then get honeycomb above, below, rear wards and to the side of the tank. i think its about 150 new from caterham. robmar
Hoopy - out of interest - how easy is it to fit the full honeycomb protection? do you need to take the tank out? rob
greg
Rob, Not that I've actually done it but: ou would have to losen the tank and the lower part is actually a shelf that the tank sits on, so you should be able to losen the tank to lift it up enough to slide the shelf underneath. The sides can just be siliconed on in situ from underneath. Greg, Q 86 NTM (Green 185BHP XF)
scooby dooby doo
i think its would be possible but damn awkward. it would be easier with the tank in place but unbolted. you could then tilt it about to get the panels in place. apart from the floor the other panels need have no location at all so need to be siliconed on. scooby dooby doo
actually Roy fitted most of it - so you're best off asking him. HOOPY assistant thread hijacker R706KGU
