I have a meeting in a while, so I won't be able to make amendments until after lunch, but the paper currently reads...

White Paper relating to the abolition of Cucumbers

I propose to ban cucumbers.

They are not very nice to eat, they are very watery and they have an extraordinary pungent and malodourous flavour that is a health hazard and represents a clear and present danger to this administration.

They ruin good sandwiches and Pimms.

People who like cucumber will not miss them, but for those who dislike them, life will be improved immeasurably.

If you have any comments or suggestions please let me know ASAP

Thanks

Rach

i have a small grievance with your draft wording.

the "have little taste" bit. i propose chaning it to:

"they have an extraordinary pungent and malodourous flavour that is a health hazard and represents a clear and present danger to this administration"

Ah that's where you are wrong, I have not agreed to ban cucumbers, I have agreed to consider it as an option. In the interests of being a democratic Ruler of the World and all that...the paper does not guarantee the abolition of the cucumber *eek* *wink*

No pre-nuptial agreement, as far as I know there aren't going to be any nuptials any time soon - unless Alex is plotting something that I don't know about *eek* 😬
