Dignity
Hi All, My K series dipstick is metal with a notch cut out and very tricky to read. The others I have seen have a yellow plastic end. I can't find one on CC website. Has anyone got one? Maybe after converting to dry sump? Regards Dignity

Mankee
Hi Colin. I received a dipstick amongst some other bits from a kind L7C member recently. I only really used it to compare the markings on my (modified Rover) dipstick, as I've never been too sure about the exact oil level. I would offer you the dipstick but the end was damaged in transit, so there might be a risk of the thing breaking off and then getting battered in your sump. Mort
Dignity FWIW the dipstick with the yellow end is also very difficult to read - almost impossible when the oil is very clean.
