I think a 89 car would ordinarily use the chassis rails across the back and across below the wheel to bolt through. However, I can't see why you can't get the strengthening 'U' shaped ali items from Caterham and fit these to your car. The new style seats then bolt through these and they spread the load over the floor section. These 'U' bits just rivet in place and I'm sure Caterham can give you measurements in order to fit them. Phil Waters You mean you can drive these?
