Warren S Smith
Probably like most blatters, I often find that I forget to cancel the indicators after having made a turn. Is anyone aware of how I can fit an audible alarm (as on motorbikes) which will remind me to cancel them and what kit I will need? Thanks,
DohNut
I think that there is a diagram on someones website seven-up.co.uk springs to mind but I am sure they will be along shortly. or look in the archives as I think this was covered not so long ago Nick
Graham Perry
I cannot remember whose website it is (or the wiring) , but I fitted this to mine, and it works very well. All I remember is that you need two beeper units, one for the left and one for the right, then it is very simple to wire. It can be done with a single unit but the wiring is more complex. This is something that Caterham should have made an option years ago.
Jason Plato
Bleepers are for sale in most car spares shops for a few quid . Dave
Red SLR
There is a good one for sale at the moment that is a shift light and beeper all in one, designed for bikes but I am sure it will work on a 7. Saw it in Motorcycle City. See X777CAT here
Bricol
I'm sure I did it real simple: go to Maplin- buy small beeper for about a quid. Wire to central terminal of switch. Other wire to convenient earth. When switch is moved either way, beeper sounds - loudly as it is taped to rear of dash which seems to act as a sound board. Simple, cheap and no more forgetting it! Big Brother
Try here Full credit must go to Steve @ Oakwood Data, who kindly let me put this schematic on the Se7en-Up website Steve Se7en-Up! JKJ
Installed one in exactly the same way as previous post except obtained mine from a shop that dealt in home security, tiny unit cost a quid or so. Wired it into the back of the switch so it worked either way. It was so loud I had to wrap it in electricians tape to quieten it down, but even then it remained so, and I wear ear plugs in the car !! Unit still in place but disconnected.

TonyR
I put me side repeaters in the headlight and they are visible when driving. A much better reminder than the feeble dash light. TonyR
PAUL MARRIOTT
Hi Warren, I've fitted the Halfords/motorist centre caravaners repeater buzzer to K7, (£5.99), neat and tidy all in one little plastic box. I can bring one to the Pilgrims Reunion if you like. Paul M.

Alex Birtwisle
Actually, I have just noticed that I have flashing lights on the outside of my car so if I leave the indicators on other people can tell me to cancel them ..... saves me a wiring job!
