Mail order battery

I'm going through the same process at the moment:

Caterham ask 49.30 +VAT for a dry battery, Banner ask 40+VAT for the same, but you have to send them a cheque first.

£35 sounds very good!

P.S. Could you post the phone number for REdline please? thanks!

I am getting this through Europa Parts in Wandsworth. I have to go and get it, but it is close. The very helpful bloke at the other end of the phone said he would do it at £29.99 plus VAT - its normally about £35 plus VAT he said.

😬26,000 miles in 13 months! *cool* *thumbup*

new battery reqd Step 1 Pick up phone enquire of local factors re unit of reqd dimensions with best amp hour rating . step 2 compare prices . step3 Purchase unit at most advantageous price with due reguard for distance and cost. Upon arrival at home with new part , Abuse it! IE flatten and re charge , Don't just swear at it cos it won't fit it self. Most occasional vehicules suffer early battery failure because the battery has had no work to do, and builds a "Memory" of required loads . If the car is going no where during the winter (wuss) use it for your lead lamp or fit it on your shopping car and let somebody else use it.

If you like it do it again
