Rullingen Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 It's not especially noisy, It doesn't wine, more of a hiss. But after a 20 mile journey it is hot to the touch. This isn't normal, is it? Bricol Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 Depend on how hot - warm, hot or blistered? Is the oil up to the correct level? It transmits power while turning the drive through 90 degress, in a less than 100% efficient way. Energy is lost in noise and heat.
