Sheds Moderator
If you are counting the pennies is there any reason why a wheel spider won't do the job, assuming your pricipal use is wheel changes at trackside? In the workshop a better solution is generally felt to be an air wrench, the compressed air is invaluable for tyres, paint jobs, cleaning things, it goes on for ever. Support Team Shaun_E Posted March 23, 2011 Support Team Share Posted March 23, 2011 David - the Clarke one from Machine Mart is what I and Michael both have and it does a great job. I don't think you'll find a cheaper one that will crack a wheel nut easily.

Rattie
I've got DeWalt 28v gear, SDS drill and angle grinder, so I had a couple of batteries already. So I just got a naked DC810KN off ebay. Works like a charm!
