Fishy Dave
Looking for a length of oil resistant hose with an 18mm or 19mm internal diameter. Need about 50cm or so to replace a length with a bad kink in it (hoping no damage has been done); it's the hose which runs from the dry sump to the purple pump. I have a trackday at the weekend so hoping to find something quickly. Thanks, Dave
simonpa
Hi Dave - I've quite a bit of hose at home - mostly blue. I'll check the diameters tonight and get back.. Do you need ends? I've a box full of unused fittings as well... Drop me a BM, so I have your email address.. Cheers - Simon
Fishy Dave
Thanks, no need for ends, just the hose will be fine as long as it's safe for oil. I have been using heater hose for the past couple of days, but know this is no good long term. Will send you a mail now.

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted March 9, 2011 Leadership Team Share Posted March 9, 2011 Dave, whatever you source be aware that the scavenge hose is specifically specced to work at negative pressure (ie. vacuum hose) rather than a pressure hose - Think Auto usually have what is needed. Fishy Dave
Ah, that's good to know, thanks Stu. Yes, will try Circuit Motors as they are pretty close, it's one of those items that someone may have had a length of hanging around in their garage. Thanks for looking Simon, 16mm is just a bit too small.
Team Escargot
Dave An Agricultural machinery dealer will stock hydraulic hose and cut it to length for you - ask for R100 grade. There are loads near Bath and will probably be cheaper than at a motorsport outlet. Nick
