Grubbster Posted March 23, 2011 Author Share Posted March 23, 2011 The engine was taken out last week and stripped on Friday - it wasn't fully stripped when I spoke to them but it looked like big ends, crank regrind and possibly rings needed. Called them today but the fella working on it is on leave this week so I won't know more until he gets back next week. I'm not in a rush though, I can carry on with the hire car until it is fixed and we do have Carolines Volvo to use as well - although at this rate of progress I could have probably sorn'd it 😬 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
