Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted February 11, 2011 Leadership Team Share Posted February 11, 2011 I'm surprised not to have seen anyone comment on Autoglym as our new sponsor. As far as I am concerned, a big to them for sponsoring us, and well done to the organising team for sorting this out! Roll on the start of the season - Michael. David Lynch
That means my car has to be cleaned when arriving at events now 😬 ..also must get the T-shirt idea to Simon.

Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted February 11, 2011 Author Leadership Team Share Posted February 11, 2011 Rover.... Rover 🤔 Hang on, yes I seem to remember them. They were some British manufacturer of horeseless carriages that went out of business sometime in the last millenium weren't they? Did they really make their own engines too? Of course, some of us have cars equipped with engines from current manufacturers like Ford 😬 I'll get my coat. I think I left it near the drip tray under the car. Michael. Gnasher2
I have to come clean here chaps (pun intended). Known on blatchat as Gnasher2 I am in fact the CEO of Autoglym. Thanks for the kind words. I expect to see the spectators having to wear shades with all of the glare off the assembled grid . Of course this will be on the basis that you all rush out and purchase some of my products which will in turn help me to continue to sponsor the championship and take it from strength to strength. I am sure Simon and the team will do a great job of twisting my arm even further to ensure we do some good things for the competitors and class champions this year. david nelson
After Stowe test day my seven with be bathed in their finest shampoo as will the tow car. I do have one hope, however much I love the seven the boss would like to know if I keep using Autoglym will the seven change to an Aston? Graham Perry
So presumably there will be a polishers award at every event, or maybe one per class ? 😳
The Comp Sec
Well that will mean some of you will need more than a few detentions to ensure the cars are clean enough for you to apply the polish.
Englishmaninwales
Lucky that I'm starting this year with a newly painted car AND a covered trailer...just so that I will have a clean car at each event for any new prizes for shiny cars (except that I have scratched it already ☹️) Malcolm Edited to add Thanks Gnasher2 Edited by - Englishmaninwales on 22 Feb 2011 00:34:

Matthew Willoughby
By way of thanks I went to Halfords yesterday and then spent an hour or two polishing my 7 with Autoglym's high gloss polish. It now looks fab. I don't think I've ever polished one of my cars before!
