1. The Club has secured the services of Austin Kinsella - well known and appreciated by the Le Sept and Oulton Park attendees, and John Chambers who was also at Oulton Park 😳.

Both instructors will be available for booking without fee, although a voluntary donation to Nuke the Luke would be appreciated!

2. In addition to normal Intercom instruction above, John Chambers can offer the following data logging option during his instruction for an additional fee paid to directly to Drivedata:

Drivedata is a new company offering trackday organisers, their customers,

racing schools and driving experience promoters a way to combine on-track

instruction (using ARDS qualified instructors) with the latest technology to

deliver a better experience and much more information than has previously

been possible.

In-car cameras and data-logging is used to analyse and improve the driver's

lines around the circuit and their driving technique. Sensors measure road

speed, engine revs, acceleration, braking and cornering forces

during the on-track session. The instruction is also recorded via an

intercom system. The data can be analysed

on-screen in the pits immediately after the session with the instructor, so

that measurable improvements to technique can be achieved quickly and

safely.

A week after the track session, a DVD (or CD, VHS tape etc.) will be

posted to each driver containing the in-car video with an on-screen read out

of all the data logged in real time. The raw data will also be provided,

along with software to analyse it in even greater detail.

This service is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their track driving or

even competitors looking for an edge over their rivals. The system can be fitted

to almost any vehicle temporarily, so regular trackday attendees can benefit from testing

different set-ups or just get a record of their day to show to friends and

family in the comfort of their own homes.

John can be contacted on john@drivedata.com for more details *eek*
