Gridgway
I am selling the R500 of the century. It has a completely refreshed engine having done 0 (ok maybe delivery) miles, new clutch and has all the bits... Monte Carlo Blue None of that namby pamby winscreen/heater/weather gear rubbish Full R500 track add-ons (oil cooler, Apollo (plus dry sump), ECU controlled triple pass rad) Outrageously expensive (£1500) carbon air box to make it quiet enough for anywhere. FIA bar 2nd set of wheels and ACB10s (SLR style) Tonneau Straight through or Cat exhaust Armorfend on rear wings Choice of radial or cross-ply DD set-up Tyre rack to carry 2nd set of wheels! Loved and cherished Looking to get £28,000 for it. It would cost £40k new at todays prices, or this car would be £32k 2nd hand at Caterham. Steve Robinson
Hi Graham, Can't afford the whole car I'm afraid, but if you would consider selling the second set of wheels separately I could be tempted at the right price. Robbo
Gridgway
Steve, I'm going to keep it together as a package for the time being, unfortunately there is alreasy a queue for the wheels! Graham

Gridgway
Hi Andrew, thanks for the Ultima idea, but not really my cup of tea. Let me know how you get on and I'll do the same! Graham

Andrew_Bailey
Graham, what are your car's noise levels with the rear exit exhaust and the airbox? I am looking for something that will get through the Combe 100db limit. Also, what mileage has the car done and has it had the crank/bearing upgrade? What is the car's history and finally, why are you selling? C7 OCU
Gridgway
oooh er, what a lot of questions! It does do CC well, it reputedly has 92dBa. The engine has the new bearings and has all the track upgrades...oil cooler, triple pass rad, ecu controlled fan, cute diddy Apollo, oil cooler and those nice Van Der Vell VP2 Bearings! It has just had an engine rebuild...which consists of the normal refresh plus new rods, pistuns, liners and rings! This is all self induced I'm afraid. I sucked the contents of a bag of cement into the engine a few months ago! It also has a new clutch and release bearing...no expense spared. Reason for selling...I don't drive it enough, lots of family things get in the way. Give us a call if you are interested. 07713 988555.
