tbird
Barry did following tests hope it may help and save you some Time Window7 and Chrome new session with chrome Blatchat not opened cookies blatchat.com cookies _utma _utmb _utmz www.blatchat.com cookies style after I open Blatchet blatchat.com cookies _utma _utmb _utmc _utmz www.blatchat.com cookies ASPSESSIONIDCQBQSQBD Date style After I re submit profile blatchat.com cookies _utma _utmb _utmc _utmz www.blatchat.com cookies ASPSESSIONIDCQBQSQBD Date User style OK after I close Chrome the "user Cookie" deletes its self, when I re submit profile it creates a new cookie so as the cookie contains this string MyName=tbird&MyPostColour=inherit&ThisIsMe=11343&ShowSigsImages=1&ShowSigs=1&ShowImages=1 it seems this is what defines showing images it is also set to expire "when I close Browser" could this be the problem Tim Edited by - tbird on 9 Feb 2011 12:04:
jingars
Exactly the same for me as Tbird's Windows 7 and Chrome, only for me it is Firefox on Windows XP.
jingars
By changing the Privacy option in Firefox to "Remember History", and by using a cookie editor add-on to change the epiry date of the User cookie to December 2011, my Firefox will show images after a re-start. tbird
Jingers Hi, Thanks for the pointer, took a while to find a Chrome cookie editor that worked but once I had one , user Cookie was flagged as a session cookie, un checked session option and gave it a good long date, sorted, don't have to resubmit profile, well not until Christmas 2011 at earliest anyway *thumbup* *thumbup* *thumbup* 😶🌫️ Tim Edited by - tbird on 9 Feb 2011 23:56:
tbird
yep just been through a full reboot with no need to resubmit profile excellent although it just occurred to me I will probably have to manually delete that cookie if I need to change my profile options, but I can live with that, I am sure Barry will come up with a proper fix when he has time Tim Edited by - tbird on 10 Feb 2011 00:25:
tbird
Nope, it deleted cookie randomly about an hour later ☹️ must have missed something. Tim
jingars
I have just come on-line this morning and images are displaying for me in Firefox without any manual intervention. I haven't posted any drivel or updated my profile; I will see if this post alters the settings on the User cookie.
jingars
That's done it ☹️ Posting to this thread has updated the User cookie; instead of an expiry date of Dec 2012 it has reverted to "at end of session" Oh well.
