Thanks also for the link to the Thorens history document. I'm still running my TD150 with TP13 arm that I purchased new in 1967. It has never failed and has only had the drive belt replaced once. Still rock steady.

Whilst looking into the RK-309, I also found that If you go to www.vinylengine.com and register, they have a decent database of vintage turntables, tonearms cartridges and there's a fair amount about both of those on there if you're interested *smile*

I can see the page without logging in and can negotiate the site. Just need to log in to add reviews etc. Thanks for the link.

 

Interestingly one user rated the TP13 arm above an SME in terms of musicality.

 

Good luck with the Ortofon, hope it finds a deserving home.
