A Ashby
Dear all, If you know of anyone interested in high end turntables and tonearms, please kindly direct them to THIS Its in absolutely mint condition and still in original packaging and all visible signs suggest it has never been used. Area Representative Steve Wright Posted February 7, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted February 7, 2011 Nice Thanks also for the link to the Thorens history document. I'm still running my TD150 with TP13 arm that I purchased new in 1967. It has never failed and has only had the drive belt replaced once. Still rock steady. A Ashby
Steve, Whilst looking into the RK-309, I also found that If you go to www.vinylengine.com and register, they have a decent database of vintage turntables, tonearms cartridges and there's a fair amount about both of those on there if you're interested Not sure if you need to be logged in or not to see this page but... http://www.vinylengine.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=34629&sid=dc04d6ab3b6d16ebe90ecabfcf4e73a0An Edited by - Andrew Ashby on 8 Feb 2011 08:48:
Area Representative Steve Wright Posted February 8, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted February 8, 2011 I can see the page without logging in and can negotiate the site. Just need to log in to add reviews etc. Thanks for the link. Interestingly one user rated the TP13 arm above an SME in terms of musicality. Good luck with the Ortofon, hope it finds a deserving home. A Ashby
Thanks, 3 bids and 68 people watching it now, so it looks promising!
Area Representative Steve Wright Posted February 23, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted February 23, 2011 Wow! Made £770 - Outside my budget I'm afraid but I'm sure the new owner is happy, a nice piece of kit.
