R400 new build - propshaft length

[V7 SLR]

My friend again... manual says Rover propshaft = 703mm and Ford/Vauxhall = 645mm. He has a 6 speed/3.62 diff and... wait for it... 645mm propshaft. Although this sounds wrong, what's the chance that they could supply an outdated propshaft with a new build?

 

We just need confirmation please. Much appreciated.

The manual contains a mistake.

 

There is an errata sheet for the manual with new kits and the error is highlighted there.

 

Had this problem building Counts car.
