As well as myself, Jason Krebs and Darren Anley have had gearbox problems in a JCC race this year. The Quarter Master clutch and R101 engine puts too much strain on the syncro's. The added benefit is that the gear change will be the same as my Radical SR3. Is it possible to change up by going forward through the gears with a Quaife box? If not I will have to change the SR3 as swopping between the two might prove interesting! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
murph7355 Posted September 14, 2002 Share Posted September 14, 2002 Don't know about the Quaife Richard but was talking to Dave Edmands today and you can in the box he's running. He also reckons that this box, the bellhousing, linkage etc weighs in at 23kg. The box could probably be built lighter still (currently like this to aid longevity)...
