Iggy Posted September 13, 2002 Share Posted September 13, 2002 1600 k Series Tuning Have recently bought a 1600 115bhp K Series. is fitted with a 6 speed box and wide track. However, very low geared which is good for acceleration but does run out of steam fairly quickly. Would ideally like to tune to 150 - 160bhp and probably change the final drive ratio, any advise from anyone who has done something similar would be very much appreciated. scooby dooby doo Posted September 13, 2002 Share Posted September 13, 2002 there's been a couple of threads on this recently. have look using the "search" facility. decent exhaust (if its gots the short primaries), ECU and cams will let you get up to about 140-150 for about 1500 (1000 if the exhaust isn't needed) + labour Throttle bodies for another 500 will get you over 150. more that that and you'll need head work.
