Grubbster
I recently bought a 2003 Impreza estate with a towbar on it but the detachable 'T' bit with the ball on is missing (not a quick release - 2 bolts hold it on I think). I don't think it is Subaru fit, could be a Witter. I'd rather not have to buy a whole new towbar if I can help it so if anyone happens to have this part laying around unused then please get in touch Solent Se7ens Web! James_Russell
Do you mean this bit? I hope so as thats very simple to source and fit- even halfords sell it! they're bolted on with 2x M16 bolts (24mm hex heads) Q41 ACF Classic #98 My Race Videos Here! Grubbster
Sadly not James - I do need that bit as well but it is the bit this bolts on to - part of the towbar itself. It is a plate (that this ball bolts to) with 2 bits of metal welded to it that connect to the tow bracket on the car, I'd guess that the whole thing is about 5" wide and maybe 7" long - T shaped in section (a T with 2 legs IYSWIM) Solent Se7ens Web!
