The car is a race car and the bonnet has had 12 years of use, abuse and dodgy paint. It'll be painted anyway so paint condition is unimportant- likewise, a couple of dents aren't a problem so long as its reflected in price. Tiny Tim Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 James, I have one off of my HPC which had twin DCOEs. No longer required as I have changed to injection and fitted a new bonnet. Mine is in VGC and is blue with a silver stripe. Was going to put it on BC for sale at £100. Let me know if you are interested. It was brush painted some years ago so will need stripping/prepping for painting but ISTR it was structurally OK. Let me know if you want me to ask him or Funty to have a look for it. Just to confirm, the Bonnet is for a 1600 8v vauxhall car. Coyote- I'm not sure yours will suit because one of the reasons we're replacing the current bonnet is because it has been previously painted with thick paint which will have to be removed from all of the louvres!
