LazerBrain
I've been unearthing some really bizarre stuff from my loft tidying today... Many years back (pre-98 when I was still in the electronics industry) I thought I could do something useful with this and obviously I never have! It's a CRT monitor module out of some electronic test gear. There is a little screen burn in that is visible. I've got a list of the connector pinouts - it needs 12v DC. Video signal needs to be TTL at ~6.25MHz, vertical sync is TTL @60Hz, horizontal sync is TTL @19kHz (the original application used 15kHz PAL.) There are also pins for controlling the brightness. I vaguely remember powering this up, but never went any further. Not sure I'd want to post it - it is a CRT after all. Anyone want it for a fiver? Collection from a ReHaB meeting or RG6 or around M4J2. cheers, Darren.
Area Representative Steve Wright Posted January 1, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted January 1, 2011 I am interested. Do you have any more info? Makers name/number, or it's age? I.E. WWII or later? Maybe a picture? TIA
Area Representative Steve Wright Posted January 1, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted January 1, 2011 Sorry Darren, just re-read your post. Didn't notice it's TTL levels so definately not WWII 😳 Still interested though, what was it originally used for?
