longhallage
Unfortunately someone has driven into my front cycle wing whilst I was parked. No note left of course! (I really need a garage...) The wing is carbon and has crumpled. We've bent the wing mounting back into place and the indicator still works. Essentially it is now a cosmetic problem. The caterham website offers new carbon wings for about £230. is there anyone making them cheaper? The paint colour is non standard so it will be a pain to get them painted... I looked at the bolts holding the wing on and they seem to be rounded and rusted in place. Does anyone have any experience removing them? Is it easier just to get a new mounting bracket also? I don't fancy drilling them out. Any ideas appreciated. Is anyone going to Rockingham on Sunday? High chance of being cancelled though due to snow...
