It was bought for my 17 year old son to 'learn to drive' before he hit the roads but....he's just not interested facebo!!ocks and girls are of more interest to him so I told him its on its way. tbird
obviously doesnt realise a mattress will fit in the back and way more headroom than in back of my old imp van (all for camping purposes obviously) Hmm just realised "camping" may not have been the best choice of words Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black Edited by - tbird on 7 Dec 2010 18:01:
Cannonball Bob
girls are of more interest to him Cool. Suggest he shows them this photo and refer to the vehicle in the background, then point out the bloke in the baseball cap, the bird in blue, and let nature take its course. Both my cars are mostly aluminium
Northern Banana
Thanks Bob - He is inspired 😳 He's going to get the hair dresser to fashion him a receding hairline, wants a waxed jacket for Christmas and asked which pubs are best for posh totty. Told me to dig up all our grass and plant organic nettles!! 7 friendly accommodation in SW Scotland Video memoirs
johnpbransfield
Hi Paul, I thought the "new" Caterham was blue? It looks green in the picture and faaaar too fast for you, hence the sale I suppose. Any snow up there yet? 😬
tbird
Paul Hi, I am sure you would have mentioned it if not, but are all the chassis members/ diff mountings solid or even better Galv. Oh and has it any service history cheers Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black Edited by - tbird on 7 Dec 2010 22:44:
Northern Banana
Hi Yes all the chassis look in fair fettle. It has had a new rear cross member at some point (but the LR boffins around us commented that it was a proper job) Only item that maybe a MOT issue is a flaky damper, but I'm assured that its about £35 to fit yourself or an hour or two labour to get the garage to do it). It hadn't been started for 2 weeks during sub zero temps and I came to start it up on Monday night and it started first time. John - 4" of snow here but it's the temperature that is the shocking bit, minus 14 last night. Just been out feeding the sheep on the quad and I can't feel my face typing this with 2 fingers frozen together 😬 7 friendly accommodation in SW Scotland Video memoirs
tbird
Thanks Paul, I know what you mean about Temp, I am about a couple of hours east of you and we also had -14c last night although we have about 2 feet of snow to go with it 😬 (BRRrrrr Smiley) Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black
