andyvicarage
Hi, Just bought my first caterham. SV Roadsport 1.8 twin cam, 160bhp, 2003. It has had a oil service every year, but no paperwork to prove anything else. Caterham say they will look at everything and do what is necessary (big bill probably), but I want to do some things myself. I want a mechanic to do the cam belt - i'll watch and learn. Is there a check list of everything you should inspect or replace. What about sump foam? Gearbox/diff oil? I have never done this before but am mechanically minded and keen. Thanks in advance.
