Allen Payne Posted September 10, 2002 Share Posted September 10, 2002 On a K-series engine does the oil pressure warning light get its signal from the same sender as the oil pressure guage, i.e. the one on top of the oil filter assembly, or is there another sender. Allen Payne Posted September 10, 2002 Author Share Posted September 10, 2002 All I've found so far on mine is the barrel shaped VDO sender bolted into the top of the oil filter assembly - no tee piece - I assume this is for the guage. Allen Payne Posted September 10, 2002 Author Share Posted September 10, 2002 Nigel, It's big, orange, it's not the igintion light (that ones red) & only comes on when the engine not running - until recently when it also comes on when the oil pressure guage dips down to c.1 bar.
