This morning around 9am was it (was in deep sleep rushed to window thinking Santa had arrived early) a blue 7 without spare wheel cruised past 2 up onyour way for a blat no doubt

Live not far from you (~5mins), & seen another caterham lurking in the area, so was out for a last blat prior to SORN'ing at the end of the month.

Sorry for delay, just got back from a week's hols.

 

I am green with a yellow nose (my doctor says not to worry) and often blatting towards Compton Abbas or Goodwood through the lanes. Yes just sorned mine too so await the big thaw next spring.

 

What brings you down Velmore way or is that awkward

After the heavy snow here in CF, kind of glad I’ve SORN the Seven; but a good time to check it all over on these long (and cold) winter evenings. Time to get it jacked onto stands and start the checks & do a service ready for the spring; no rush though.

 

I did the Goodwood run many times this year; managed to get the Seven onto the Grid a few times. Off there this Sunday, albeit in the Tin-top as long as the weather isn’t too harsh.

 

As for Velmore road, was simply out for a run & took a u-turn there, but no turning point at the end of the road.

if you take a wrong turn next time turn round at No 2 the first house on the left - everyone else does.

 

But we refuse to put up the usual sign "no turning". In fact we may put up a sign that positively encourages it ("turning welcome")

I too live in Velmore Rd (26) although my silver K series is garaged across the other side of C/F.

 

I noticed the green & yellow outside no. 2 a few months back and have been meaning to knock the door when I next saw it.

 

I also noticed the blue visitor a week or two ago.

 

I'm off to take mine out for an hour now, see you around no doubt!

Now that is unusual, two caterhams in the same road!

 

Guys, mine is SORN until April, in fact its on axle stands in my garage at the moment, couldn't keep my hands off it for long 😬

 

Come Spring, the three of us should go for a blat or two
