When I first upgraded to supersport it seemed to take ages to reach the rev limit and I wonderered when the limiter would cut in. robmar Posted September 9, 2002 Share Posted September 9, 2002 I belive they do not do that anymore witht he new EU3 engines, loom and ECU, however I could be wrong on this. my Sl (built may last year) had one fitted that never worked, I remember at thetime hearing of a potential fix (which would also fix the backwards tachos ) but cannot remember if anything came of it. scooby dooby doo Posted September 9, 2002 Share Posted September 9, 2002 EU2 is 7650 for the limiter and the shift light comes on at 7400. except i have an emerald so can set both to wherever i like :) EU3 may be different. non SS and 1.8s are both lower. Caterham should have provided you with an addition to the wiring loom to enable this functionality. If they haven't then give aftersales a call on 01322 625804. robmar Posted September 11, 2002 Share Posted September 11, 2002 Mav - assume you ar directing that comment at me, I think they sent something through, with a new rev counter a long time ago however by that time I fitted the omex lights and fixed the rev counter so I never bothered to do it.
