Hertfordshire, years of scraping and bashing the sump caused it to give way. 🙆🏻 Lucky, lucky Ratrace. Apart from the dry sump option, is there any way of protecting it? - & how much IS a dry sump? Mark H Posted September 8, 2002 Share Posted September 8, 2002 The parts department at caterham were selling dry sump kits for crossflow for about £600 , not sure if there still are ❗ Just been and had a look yes they are still selling a ds.kit but i got the price wrong its £699. The gain is going to be constant oil supply when cornering hard, and i have seen the oil gauge drop a couple of times just recently on my crossflow very worrying ☹️Don,t forget the added ground clearance PS. I also split my sump recently and need a quick repair so replaced it with a new standard sump from Redline £90...... Marc.
