Semsec @ Lydden

Pendennis

Recommended Posts

Saturday 23rd October see's the final round of the Semsec championship. There will be sprinting in the moaning and racing in the afternoon. Plenty to watch or compete against. If you haven't raced with them before, let me assure you it is cheap, clean, competitive fun<img class='"smiley"' alt='"thumbs' src='"images/smilies/thumbsup.gif"' up"="" data-cke-saved-src=""> Want to rent an 18th century Farmhouse in Rural Somerset?

I think it was May or June. It was the last race of the day and involved two Caterhams and something else. The race started but one stalled and looked as though it was going to have to pull out. Eventually it got going so was nearly a lap down. The race mainly consisted of the driver closing the gap and taking the lead with a lap or two to go.

The last race of the day is normally a handicap pursuit, so the quickest would always go last. So although it may have seemed as though someone had stalled, almost certainly more like he was not allowed to start until a certain time had elapsed.

Suspect it was a yellow CSR, driven by the lucky Fatcat 😬

Blimey, not many in that race. I wasn't at that meeting. But it was our old muka Paul Gibb in his rampant HPC that you refer too *thumbup*

That handicap race is always good fun and normally very exciting to watch, even better to compete in. You always know before the start what you have to do to win. It's like a 12 lap Sprint with others on the track *thumbup*

Hopefully see you there *rolleyes* 😶‍🌫️
