Loverobot
Archives suggest 4mm pop rivets for the interior side trim but does anyone know what length is appropriate as CC appear to stock differing lengths? Area Representative Paul Richards Posted September 29, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted September 29, 2010 Yes -4mm dia. 10mm long should be fine for most applications. Paul Deslandes
not sure what the current build manual says but don't rivet the knee panels, use black self tapping screws so they're easy to remove should you need to get behind them later. These are the panels either side that your knee touches (strangely enough 😬)
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted September 29, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted September 29, 2010 Just a thought. If you have lowered floors the bottom rivets (on outside as opposed to transmission tunnel) also hold the floor and should be steel. Paul Richards Area Representative - L.A.D.S.
