MikeE
Forgive my ignorance but what do the prisoner rims look like? Any pictures?
aquaman
Prisoner Rims where named as such because they were the rims used on the Lotus 7 driven by Patrick Mcgown in the series "The Prisoner" Â Ignorance relieved I trust
Mike Bees
Except that the Prisoner rims are 6.5x15... or at least they have been for many years... Mike
Mark H
Prisoner rims are a caterham product never fitted let alone made at the time lotus built sevens. But they are surposed to look like the steel wheels fitted by lotus in the 60s... And yes they are 15 inch rims not 13. IMHO nice looking wheels
MikeE
Erm well no actually. I know why they are called prisoner wheels (I remeber seeing the Prisoner on TV RERUNS ). What I didn't know was what they look like.
Ninja Boy
Hi, The picture that greets me every time I log into my PC shows Patrick McGoohan getting into/out of one of the two Lotus 7's used in the filming of The Prisoner. The wheels look like 13", whereas the Caterham items are 15" (and IMHO don't really look that much like the real thing, but are still good looking). Kipp Teague's page is well worth a look if you're into The Prisoner. Cheers, Mark (I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed 😳 or numbered. My life is my own.) 😬 1800 K-Series - S132 CUY 😬 😳 Also hairdresser's tin-top - J777 DMH - if it's raining 😳  Edited by - Ninja Boy on 5 Sep 2002 14:05:
