For sale is a job-lot to get you racing - car, trailer and spare set of 13" Anthracite wheels, shod with CR500s.

 

2009 Academy Winning Car

 

This car won the 2009 Academy Group 1, before being upgraded to current Roadsport B spec. It is still road legal and would make an excellent:

 

1) Sprint / Hillclimb car - Pretty sure it's Class 1 with different tyres.

2) Roadsport B car - although you'd need to check with Caterham to make sure you could get in (there are only 50 Academists this year, so there has to be a reasonable prospect). It would be upgradable to Supersport (new injectors; widetrack front suspension).

3) Grads car - I understand there's going to be a new Sigma class next year running to this spec, albeit with different tyres.

 

It has the desirable options (brake bias; removable wheel; rear roll-bar; starter button; lowered floor; paint!) and some of the unnecessary ones (weather gear). The trailer (A Minno) has a box on the front. It is still a front-running car, although time constraints means that Jay's not been able to repeat the success of his Academy year.
