SV wheel sizes/offsets.

I currently have 15" wheels on an SV and would like to change to 13".

I've a set of MB 13" 6.5/8.5 wheels, but the rear fouls on the dedion when I offer it up.

 

The 15" wheels are marker ET13 - 'normal' S3 wheels are ET24, aren't they?

 

Does anyone have 13" wheels on an SV, particularly the wider rears?

simon is it fouling a lot, it is usual to file a bit of a chamfer onto the rear of de dion tube bracket where the ear bolts on, to allow wider rear wheels to fit. often it is just the aluminium spacer catching. usual can be acheived with a hand held file. check also that anti roll bars cannot foul.

Checked again and the tyre is hitting a side-impact bar as well...

 

I'll take it off and see how serious the fouling is.

Putting an old 13" 8-spoke on, all looks fine, though.
