I know what you guys are thinking out there in Blat Chat land, they are only 600cc 2CV's but i tell you know that was a great racing event with all the tension of Le Mans and the closest racing i have seen in along time

Drafting is king in 2CV land *thumbup*

Loads of info on 2cvracing.co.uk - costs won't be high to race, but the initial outlay for the car will be the main chunk. Also, parts are getting more expensive because racers use a lot of them! I have an old block you can have if you want to have a play. Most important purchase will be a Haynes manual!

You can save money by doing simple things like uprating standard shockers by using thicker oil (drill, fill, plug), and flowing your own cylinder heads (easy peasy).

I would recommend talking to Geoff Archer regarding engines and anything 2cv. He'll know exactly what you need, what's within regs, etc etc.
