Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone who helped make Saturday a cracking fun day, despite the rain showers.

 

A good selection of cars , certainly some very interesting Westfields, also some good fun competition off the track with the gladiator challenge and the other entertainments which helped us raise some money for the Marshalls.

 

Thanks to everyone who helped contributed or had a go or just donated prizes or money to shut me up 😬

 

Don't want to glaze over the results as we did so well (certain commentators elsewhere have taken the hiatus of news because of our Sunday sprinting as us licking wounds which of course isnt the case.)

 

Fastest Overall Driver : John Loudon (WSCC)

Challenge Cup : Lotus 7 Club ( by 871 against 869 points.I think)

Gladiator Challenge : Paul Edden (WSCC).

 

So as you can see, we got the important prize 😬

 

Finally, away from the glare of the spotlight Alan and I decided to settle the Fraser- Johnson Fiver on the inflatable rather than on the track this year and after two bouts were even so the Fiver stays with last years winner, Alan.Thanks for being such a good sport.
