A friend of a friend is looking seriously for a genuine / original 1960s mk3 Lotus 7 and is quite happy if it's one in need of work (in fact that may be preferred as he likes projects) as long as chassis, engine number etc all match. Obviously if there is anything potentially for sale that would be great. Otherwise if anyone knows of someone who can help him, I'd appreciate it and I'll put them in contact. Apparently the guy who is interested went on Monday to look at the one MusCat referred… only to find that the car didn’t have matching serial numbers etc. He says it basically wasn’t what it was claimed to be.
