Photos of the new build.

Getting very close now to running, so close Carl, that for the moment we are ditching the F duct just so I can get out there. *eek*

I've had this car built locally by a guy who specialises in preparing rally cars and the like. I would highly recommend him to anyone. His attention to detail is second to none and is matched by his knowledge - Quentin at QPrep in Oundle has been amazing to work with and I can't wait to start it up. *smokin*

Q Preperation Here

Had to put a linky in after seeing their work thumbs up

Seems they are now doing the work on Evo's John Barkers V8 Capri too!!

They do seem to produce work of a very high standard!! *thumbup*

Photos of the new build.

Linds Car looks absolutely fantastic!! *smokin*

Out of pure curiosity what are all the switches on the centre of the dash for exactly?

I count 13 of the new style Aluminum switches, 4 Yellow switches ( for the Aces Control that's mounted on the firewall in the bonnet?) and a Starter switch??

Just wondered what they are all for, as my R500 has 14 in total, including the black ones close to the stack for control of the same.

Of course thinking about it some of the alloy ones could be display lights and controls for the indicators as you dont seem to have them on the steering wheel as my R500 does.

Hi Nigel,

The car is'nt here at the minute, *confused* but from memory I did the following.

4 x yellow buttons for the stack dash

Top row of buttons - STARTER - BLANK (power on/off to data logger thing) - HAZZARDS - HORN

Middle row ( warning lights ) - BATTERY - OIL - BRAKES - INDICATORS

Bottom row - FAN - FOG - SIDE LIGHTS - MAIN BEAM

Single button left of steering wheel - INDIACTOR LEFT

Two buttons right of steering wheel - INDICATOR RIGHT - FULL BEAM

Indicators and full beam can be operated with hands still on the wheel.

Cheers,

Linds
