quick rack for track days

I preferred my old standard (1987 vintage) rack on the road, much more civilised while the new rack is twitchy and oversensitive. However its good on track while the old rack was difficult on very tight hairpins as you needed too much movement to get round the hairpin.

Marmite - 🥰 it

22% rack - 🥰 it

On a serious note it all depends how you use/feel controls, to me I like everything as small amount of movement as possible, quick rack, race master cyclinder giving small brake peddle movement.

There is no right and wrong here I think it is just how your body is calibrated. If it does larger movements then the normal rack/brake cylinder is just fine, if your body does small movements then that fine control is excellent.

I spent years riding/training/competing/teaching on horses - the range of movement/body control was much finer/precise than what is required for the 7 so for me the quick rack is good - just depends how you brain is wired *wink*
