colc
Hi all, I have the following for sale if any one is interested? 1600 dry sumped "K" series engine When I bought the engine, I was told it was the/a Caterham dry sumped development engine (for the first superlights???). I have Dyno test sheet for the engine (17/10/96) carried out by Rover at their Gaydon test centre and sent to caterham presumably. The package consists of... 1600cc engine with 264 cams (mechanical tappets) in Supersport spec developing 127ps @6900rpm. The dyno sheet doesn`t indicate how long it was run for, but it appears to have only run on one day, and there isn`t huge amounts of data there, so presumably not too many hours!? It`s just a clean, fresh looking engine. Exactly what is there..... Dry sump pump and pulley (not gold- I guess this pump pre dates the gold pump?) Engine with dry sump pan fitted, flywheel (without clutch) and dizzy/leads/plugs etc. Caterham bell tank (combined oil tank/bell housing) with clutch fork fitted (no release bearing) Engine loom with injector rail(virtually new) but no injectors. MEMS ecu (I guess been with this engine from new) with 2 blippers! Rover/SU throttle bodies with foam filter and injectors. Rover coil Various cast bracketry(not sure if this relates to the dry sump set up?). VVC (so I was told) head and cams- not sure if it has been skimmed, but looks in good condition. Std black plastic rover throttle body-nearly new. I am looking for £1600 ovno for all of the above. Cheers Colin.
