K-Series knocking ?? any ideas?

Spec = K-Series 1600cc Supersport with anti-cav eu3 engine.

problem = knocking noise on tickover/low revs (sounds like it's running on three cylinders)

checked leads when taking pot #4 lead out no change in engine tone?! problem with pot #4?, and then looked at the plugs pot #4 plug was sooty, changed leads, plugs & coils over no different still seems to be pot #4.

However when running there seems to be no loss of power at all??

 

Any suggestions ☹️

Sounds like a very recent build & still under warrenty?

 

Sounds as though there's no 'power' to #4. Have you tried taking the plug out, cranking the engine & seeing if there's a spark? Not familiar with the EU3 but there must be an extra sensor (camshaft?) to initiate firing. Could try swapping this out.

tried plugs, no joy still the same, still under warranty. But you know the hassle that comes with that, days off to take car back .......etc.

if it was something simple that i could do all the better.
