I have no intention (well not yet anyway) of track days etc. but am puzzled as to how the strut fits together. I have 1 short stubby tobe, and 1 long one with a 'U' shaped section welded on. scooby dooby doo Posted August 30, 2002 Share Posted August 30, 2002 the teo bits of tube slot together and you have to drill a hole through them and put a bolt in. the end with the U on it goes on the FIA bar just behind the passengers head on the back stay. The other end goes about where the passenger's left knee is and is bolted to the chassi there. You quite probably don't have the hole made in the inner skin of the car for this but there will be a threaded hole behind it.
