LesG
Think I was 'bidnapped' on fleabay at the weekend, so now I'm looking for either a 4.1 or 4.44/1 crownwheel and pinion for the above.
phil 01
Hi les How, do imagine that somebody had knowledge of your bid, and is does this happen regularly. I also believe this as happened to me more than once phil
LesG
Hi Phil, There is a program called 'bidnapper' that you can buy online, this you use on 'the bay' to ensure your best and final bid drops in at the dying second of an auction. I'm presuming the program can ascertain the highest bid value in some way, and then outbids enough to make you the winning bidder, but freezes anyone else out by virtue of there is no time left to counter-bid. Be careful out there!
Z3MCJez
You can always bid more earlier It seems to me that "bidnapper" or equivalent is to prevent someone bidding more later. Well you can prevent that by bidding more earlier. The value of your bid only then goes up when the second bidder comes in. Jez
