Rear Dampers

I'm after a pair of rear dampers for 95 HPC de dion, fixed platforms or adjustable.

Through-dedion or under-mounted?

I have a good pair for under-mounting - with adjustable platforms.

Hi Simon, the top mount is thru a round bush with bolt accessed behind driver right shoulder, at the bottom end they attach to the front edge of the de dion ,looks to be a bolt thru the back of the de dion.

..and does the bottom bolt go through/into the middle of the tube, or is there a small tube welded onto the underside of the of the dedion, that the bottom end of the shock bolts into?

 

I ask, as the dampers for the through-the-middle mounting on the tube are an inch or so shorter than the later ones that bolt underneath the dedion tube...

 

The dampers I have are the later/longer ones. The come from a 6k-mile car.

Pretty sure I have some in the garage, '95 vintage off my supersprint, will check this evening, think they're adjustable ride height too
