Neil_K
Perfect for these hot nights! A slimline portable air con unit about 2 years old, complete with remote control. Top of the range, 12000 BTU unit. Used only very lightly in our previous flat, just during hot spells in the summer. We put it on for an hour or so before going to bed - that's the only use it's had. Works brilliantly, quiet enough to sleep with it on, not a lot more to say! It's still as good as new but since moved house and it's surplus to requirements. It's this model here £400 brand new, asking £250 ono collected to a blatchatter for this top of the range unit before I ebay it. No urgency to pick it up so long as sale is agreed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Calm down dear, it's only a forum!
Gridgway
Neil, how does it exhaust the heat? I could well be interested. Graham
Neil_K
Through a flexible duct a bit like a tumble dryer, that is removable and compressable for storage. You need to vent it through a window like any air con unit, but it has a narrowing end to reduce the width you need the window open to an inch or two.
