Flyingfish
I am now missing a couple of the black poppers on the boot cover on the 7 and was wondering where the best place is to get some replacements and a tool for putting them on? Englishmaninwales
Anybody got one of their industrial tool for poppers rather than the horrid punch/dish tool?
Area Representative Richard Price Posted June 17, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted June 17, 2010 ....rather than the horrid punch/dish tool? Malcolm, maybe its not the tool, but the craftsman?
Englishmaninwales
Just because you've been off on a fancy cruise around the Med doesn't mean you can take the p@ss out of my skills (or lack of) 😬. Looks like then you'll be fitting my new boot cover as well as cutting a hole in the new side skin for the exhaust.
Paul Formston
Hi Malcolm didn't you keep the old side skin for a templet, 😬 also if you measure from the bracket that holds the nose cone fastener along the top of the chassis and drop a straight edge down to the front of the hole for the exhaust on another K series engined caterham with the same exhaust it will give you a starting point its easy like giving injections or stitching some one up 😬 if you need any help with ether job you know where I am Regards Paul North Wales Sports Cars caring for Caterhams in North Wales. juleslid
Hello Mr Fish, just switched the computer on for the first time in a while and saw your post. If you're not sorted I'm just round the corner in Prestbury and have all those bits knocking about from my recent build. Jules
